The light weight silica insulation brick uses finely crushed silica as raw material, and its critical particle size usually does not exceed 1mm, and the particles less than 0.5mm are not less than 90%. Flammable substances are added into the ingredients or porous structures are formed by gas generation, and then fired. At the same time, it can also be made into unburned products.

Application of silicon insulation brick
The light silica insulation brick can be used for a long time under the high temperature condition (1500-1550 ℃) without contacting with the slag. It is suitable for the lining of large blast furnace supporting hot blast furnace and the gas insulation layer of glass furnace.
