Product description of silicon bricks
Silica bricks for hot blast stove are used for the masonry of high temperature parts of hot blast stove of blast furnace. They are silica refractory products with scaly quartz as the main crystal phase.
Characteristics of silica bricks
- Under long-term high temperature and high load conditions, the volume is stable and the high temperature creep rate is low, and 1-2 blast furnaces can be used continuously.
- Above 600 degrees, it has good thermal shock resistance, adapts to the temperature change of hot blast stove, and keeps the masonry intact.
- Chemical resistance is superior to clay bricks and ordinary high alumina bricks.
- The thermal conductivity of silica brick for hot blast stove is higher than that of clay brick and high alumina brick, which is conducive to storing and releasing heat in a short time.
