Product introduction of high alumina brick

High alumina bricks are more than 48% neutral refractory. It is formed by shaping and calcining bauxite or other high alumina raw materials. High thermal stability, fire resistance temperature above 1770 ℃, good slag resistance, used for lining masonry of electric furnace, glass furnace, cement kiln, etc.

Features of high alumina brick

  • Fire resistance
    High alumina bricks are more refractory than clay bricks and semi silica bricks, and the fire resistance temperature can reach 1750~1790 ℃. It belongs to advanced refractory materials.
  • Weight softening temperature
    Due to the high content of al_2o_3 in aluminum products, the content of impurities is low, and the formation of fusible glass, its softening temperature is higher than that of clay bricks. However, since there is no network structure formed during the crystallization of the inulite, its softening temperature is still not higher than that of the silica brick.
  • Slag resistance
    The content of al_2o_3 in high alumina brick is high, which is close to neutral refractory and can resist the corrosion of acid and alkali slag. Due to the content of silica, its alkali resistance is lower than that of acid slag.
