We are a refractory material manufacturer, with four major factories: heavy brick factory, light brick factory, monolithic refractory factory and fused-cast brick factory.
We promise to provide you with high-quality refractory materials.
Product description of silicon brick
Silicon brick belongs to acid refractory material, with silicon content greater than 94%, real density of 2.38g/cm3, acid slag corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, starting softening temperature of 1620~1670 ℃, and long-term high temperature use without deformation. There is usually no crystal transformation above 600 ℃. Minimum temperature expansion coefficient. High thermal shock resistance.
Details of silicon brick
The mineral phase of silica brick is mainly composed of flaky quartz and cristobalite, with a small amount of quartz and glass. The volume of flaky quartz, cristobalite and residual quartz changes greatly at low temperature due to the change of morphology, and the thermal stability of silicon brick is poor at low temperature. During use, heat and cool slowly to below 800 ° F to prevent cracking. Therefore, it should not be used in furnaces with temperatures below 800 ° F.

Applications of silica bricks
Silicon bricks are mainly used for coke oven carbonization combustion chamber partition, steel Martin furnace storage tank and sedimentation chamber, intermediate heat furnace, glass furnace refractory furnace and ceramic kiln. It can also be used for high temperature bearing parts of hot blast furnace and furnace top of acid open hearth furnace.
