Brief description of silica insulation brick
Silica insulating refractory bricks generally take crystalline quartzite or silica sand as raw materials, and coke, anthracite, sawdust, carbonized rice husk and other flammable substances or gases are added into the ingredients to form a porous structure. The refractoriness and load softening temperature have little difference with ordinary silica bricks with the same composition.
Features of silica insulation brick
Silica insulation brick has good fire resistance. The load softening temperature is basically equivalent to that of density silica brick, reaching 1620 ℃. Not only is the residual expansion very small, but its thermal stability is also better than that of density silica brick.
Application of silica insulation brick
Silica insulation brick is a very special material, which is mainly used in glass industry and steel industry. In most cases, hard silicon and density silicon bricks are used as part of the structural layer. The common industry is glass furnace, which is mainly used to isolate the thermal insulation of arch furnace, reduce heat loss and improve the efficiency of melting process.
