Magnesia carbon brick is a kind of composite structure, the main part of which is made of magnesia clinker which has strong slag corrosion resistance to alkaline slag and carbon which has poor wettability with molten slag, so it has excellent slag corrosion resistance.

Features of magnesia carbon brick

Magnesia carbon brick is composed of magnesium oxide and carbon, both of which have high melting point, and the two components do not solid melt, so MG-carbon brick has high melting resistance. Magnesia carbon brick not only maintains the advantages of carbon refractories, but also completely changes the previous alkaline refractories poor spalling resistance, easy to absorb the inherent shortcomings of slag.

Application of magnesia carbon brick

Magnesia carbon brick is mainly used in the lining of converter, AC arc furnace, DC arc furnace, ladle slag line and other parts.
