Product description of Low cement castable
Low cement castable is developed on the basis of clay and refractory castable. It mainly includes low cement, ultra-low cement and non cement refractory castable. It has many advantages, such as high density, low apparent porosity, high strength, low wear, thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance, etc.
Features of Low cement castable
- High density and strength, good use effect.
- The content of CaO is low, which reduces the generation of eutectic phase and improves the refractoriness, high temperature strength and slag corrosion resistance of the material.
- During the construction, the amount of water added into the castable is only 1/3~1/2 of the normal water consumption, achieving low apparent porosity and high bulk density.
- After casting, less cement compounds are produced during maintenance. In the process of heating and baking, there is no destruction of a large number of hydrated bonds, which will reduce the intensity at middle temperature. However, for low cement castables, the strength will increase with the increase of heating temperature.
Application of Low cement castable
Low cement castable is used for thermal equipment such as kiln hole, door cover and cooler back of cement rotary kiln, with good performance and long service life.
