Brief introduction of silicon carbide firebrick
Silicon carbide firebrick is made of silicon carbide as the main raw material of refractory products, general selection of black silicon carbide (SiC content more than 96%) as raw material, adding binder (or not), by batching, mixing, forming and firing process.
Features of silicon carbide firebrick
Silicon carbide firebrick has the characteristics of good wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature strength, good thermal shock stability, high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion coefficient and so on.
Application of silicon carbide firebrick
- In cement rotary kiln, wear-resistant silicon carbide brick is used as the lining brick of discharge kiln.
- In the manufacture of iron and steel, silicon carbide bricks are used in the furnace, furnace, waist and water mouth area of ironmaking blast furnace.
- In the glass industry, silicon carbide bricks are used to construct tunic furnaces, glass annealing furnaces and the high temperature parts of the trough furnaces and regenerators of high-pressure boilers, as well as the linings of the combustion chambers of waste incinerators.
